Maverick Gardner Pathways North (MGPN) operates across Canada and acknowledges that our work takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples throughout Turtle Island. Our headquarters are located in Newmarket, Ontario, within the traditional territories of the Chippewas of Georgina Island, the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Huron-Wendat peoples and within Williams Treaties territory, while our pilot operations are based in the Grahamdale region of Manitoba within Treaty 2 territory and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We honour the enduring presence and contributions of Indigenous peoples across these lands and remain committed to advancing Indigenous-led economic participation, workforce development, and long-term community capacity across Canada.
Indigenous-lead delivery for the way you actually buy it.
Three service lines — capacity for other providers, managed services for end customers, embedded augmentation for programs that need named, on-shore people.
Training, Hiring, and Employing Indigenous Talent in Canada’s Digital Economy
Maverick Gardner Pathways North Inc. (MGPN) is an Indigenous-led workforce engine delivering real, on-shore digital work into rural and Indigenous communities. We operate an employment-first model that integrates training, supervised practice, and paid employment into a single pathway — connecting skills development directly to long-term careers built inside the company that trained them.
Participants begin with structured training and supervised practice on real digital services. Once they’re assessed as work-ready, they’re hired into paid roles at MGPN — performing the same client engagements they were practicing on, now as employed staff. There are no unpaid practicums, no certificate-only graduations, and no waiting on outside placements.
Indigenous people build meaningful digital careers without leaving their communities, while MGPN advances Indigenous leadership across workforce development, economic participation, and long-term community growth.
How We Advance Truth & Reconciliation
MGPN advances Truth and Reconciliation through measurable outcomes — jobs created, wages earned, skills developed, careers sustained — not through engagement programs.
This work directly addresses Calls to Action 7 and 92 from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission: closing the Indigenous education and employment gap, and ensuring equitable Indigenous access to jobs, training, and economic participation in the corporate sector. MGPN treats those calls as a daily operating model, not a policy statement.
As an Indigenous-led company, MGPN keeps employment pathways, workforce development, and economic value under documented Indigenous control. The long-term ambition is Indigenous digital sovereignty — a self-sustaining service delivery capacity where Indigenous communities don’t just participate in the digital economy but increasingly lead it, on their own terms.

We don’t train for hypothetical jobs — we prepare people for real digital work and hire on proven performance. Reconciliation is sustained economic participation, as skilled contributors and decision-makers.
